In the morning, you can choose to go to Orange Island, is an impact sandbank in the Xiangjiang River. It has been one of the famous places in Changsha City since ancient times. The giant white marble monument in the center of the park is engraved with Mao Zedong’s handwriting “Orange Manchurian Head” and the back is the full text of “Qinyuanchun·Changsha”.
Then you can visit the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area. Yuelu Mountain on the west bank of Xiangjiang River is a landmark attraction in Changsha. It is the last peak of the 72nd peak of hengshan mountain, one of the four great maple leaf resorts in China. There are many historical sites, including Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Ting Pavilion.
In the afternoon, you can visit the Hunan Provincial Museum, which is rich in cultural relics, especially the Mawangdui Han Tombs and the Shang and Zhou bronzes.
In the evening, you can go to Changsha Xiangjiang scenery belt. The Xiangjiang River Scenic Belt consists of more than ten leisure fitness squares, green belts and historical and cultural landscapes. It is also one of the best viewing spots for fireworks shows, so every weekend night, the riverside is full of excitement.
